Penny Johnson born on March 14, 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland, Penny studied at the Julliard School before marrying jazz musician Gralin Jerald in 1982, with whom he has a daughter named Danyel.
Penny started her career with small roles in shows like "Do The Right Thing" (1989), "The Paper Chase" (1984-86) and "General Hospital" (1990). In 90 years, Jerald acted in several films such as "Absolute Power", besides having participated in the iconic series "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" playing captain of the freighter Kasidy Yates. But one of his greatest roles was on "24" ("24", 2001), alongside Kiefer Sutherland, where he remained until the third season. Jerald also teaches theater, in addition to producing and directing for Outreach Christian Theater Company, which she and her husband founded in 1994.
When not busy with his role of Captain Victoria "Iron" Gates 12th Precinct of "Castle," Penny pursuing his second year of law school.
