Seamus Patrick Dever was born on June 27, 1976 in Flint, Michigan. Since the age of 6 years he has participated in more than 60 musical pieces. On TV, he made many contributions in television blockbuster series as "Cold Case," "JAG," "Charmed," "CSI: NY," among others. In 2008 joined the cast of the soap opera "General Hospital" in the role of Dr. Ian Devli. That same year he participated in the series "Army Wives" also as a doctor, until, in 2009, wore cloths Detective Kevin Ryan, initiating its longest and known work, along with other such talented actors on the show "Castle ".
In May 2006, Seamus married Juliana Dever, who coincidentally plays Jenny, wife of Detective Ryan, on "Castle". He is also cousin of singer-songwriter Leslie Feist, indie band Broken Social Scene.
