Daughter of Croatian immigrants, Stana was born on April 26, 1978 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She has three brothers and a sister, all younger. When you were young, his family moved to Winona, Ontario, Canada, to Aurora, a city next to Chicago, Illinois, in the United States, where he opened a furniture store (which is still family). After graduating from Aurora High School in 1996, studied acting at the Goodman School of Drama in Chicago. Stana is multilingual - in addition to English, she French, Italian and Serbian speech (and a bit of Croatian and Bosnian because they are so similar to Serbian).
Before starring as Kate Beckett on "Castle," Stana made small spikes in several movies and TV shows, such as "007: Quantum Of Solace," "Heroes" and "24." In 2010, he filmed "For Lovers Only" with the Polish brothers in France, a film that had great success on iTunes and on social networks.
Stana founded his own production company in 2008, Sine Timore Productions (which means "without fear" in Latin). She is also the founder of the Alternative Travel Project, which encourages people to use transport more environmentally friendly.
